My Approach
In our sessions, the pace is set by you. I genuinely believe you have the answers you need within you, and my role is to be alongside you as we uncover them. The relationship between us is at the heart of the work. How we connect, feel understood, and respond to one another provides a safe container for exploring difficult experiences. You are the expert in your own world, and our sessions offer a space where your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations can be noticed, understood, and worked with in a way that feels supportive. I work collaboratively, offering attunement, reflection, and guidance rather than an agenda, so the work progresses in a way that is aligned with your needs.

Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsettled in themselves or their relationships. We explore these experiences together, noticing patterns in how you relate to yourself and others, and looking at how earlier experiences may continue to influence your present. This understanding can open the door to new ways of relating, choosing, and responding.
Where helpful, we may also bring attention to the body. My training in somatic trauma work allows me to gently guide awareness of bodily sensations, tension, and nervous system states, helping you process experiences in a safe, embodied way. This is always collaborative and only included when it feels relevant and supportive.

Sessions usually last 50 minutes and can take place in person at The Crescent Practice near Horsham or online. Before beginning regular therapy, we usually meet for an initial consultation to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope for. Ongoing sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you.
